YouTube Playlist Randomizer
YouTube's shuffle only mixes part of a long playlist. Paste a playlist link to shuffle every video and play them right here.
How to shuffle a YouTube playlist
- 01
Copy the playlist link
Open the playlist on YouTube or YouTube Music and copy its link. It contains “list=”.
- 02
Press Shuffle
Every playable video is mixed into a new random order and starts playing on this page.
- 03
Skip or shuffle again
Jump to any video in the queue, skip ahead or shuffle again. Your place is saved in this browser.
A real shuffle for long playlists
YouTube's own shuffle mixes only part of a long playlist, so the same videos keep coming back.
- Every video, every time
- The whole playlist is shuffled, whether it has 50 videos or 1,000.
- Broken videos skipped
- Deleted, private and non-embeddable videos are skipped automatically.
- Pick up where you left off
- Close the tab and come back later. The same order and position are waiting in this browser.
- No sign-in
- Nothing to install, no account and nothing changed in your YouTube library.
How the shuffle works
- 01
Every video is loaded
TubeKit loads the playlist's videos first, then sets aside deleted and private ones so they don't interrupt playback.
- 02
One fair random order
The list is shuffled with the Fisher–Yates method, so every video has the same chance of landing in any spot. Each video appears once, so nothing repeats until the queue ends.
- 03
Played right here
This YouTube playlist shuffler plays the queue in its own playlist player on this page. Skip, go back or shuffle again, and your place is saved in this browser.
When a real shuffle matters
A short playlist shuffles fine anywhere. Once a list has hundreds of videos, a fair shuffle is the difference between hearing all of it and hearing the same corner again.
- Big music playlists
- You saved 800 songs over the years, but YouTube keeps playing the same few dozen. Shuffle the whole list and songs you forgot about come back into rotation.
- Parties and get-togethers
- Put a shared playlist on a laptop or TV browser and let it run. Nothing plays twice before the queue ends, so nobody hears the same song again an hour later.
- Workouts
- Shuffle a playlist of workout videos or high-energy tracks so every session feels a little different, without picking the next one between sets.
- Study and language practice
- Shuffle a playlist of lectures, flashcard videos or listening clips. Hearing them out of order is a simple way to test what you actually remember.
TubeKit Randomizer vs YouTube's shuffle button
